Itinerary

Day 1 - Vancouver, Washington State

Arrive independently at the designated hotel and enjoy an overnight. Overnight Vancouver, Washington State.

Day 2 - Vancouver, Washington State/Portland

A morning to enjoy Vancouver, Washington State before transferring to the American Empress cruise. Departure is at 6pm.

Day 3 - Astoria, Oregon

Astoria is the oldest American settlement west of the Rockies and named after John Jacob Astor, an American investor and owner of the American Fur Company back in 1811. Enjoy some time to explore in this small, pioneer city.

Day 4 - The Dalles, Oregon

Known as the end of the Oregon Trail, The Dalles is located on the south bank of the Columbia River between Mount Hood and Mount Adams. The city’s history dates back to the Native American trading which took place on the banks of the river. An included tour allows you to explore.

Day 5 - Stevenson, Washington

Nestled between the Columbia River and the cliffs of the Gorge, Stevenson brims with natural beauty at every turn. An included tour allows time to wander and visit local speciality shops and boutiques. Also visit the Bonneville Dam to see the unique way the structure helps spawning salmon pass through the dam.

Day 6 - Tri-Cities (Richland), Washington

Richland is a city dedicated to preserving its unique history, culture and landscape. At the Handford Reach National Monument witness a diverse landscape of sweeping vistas and towering bluffs, blended with an abundance of wildlife.

Day 7 - Tri-Cities (Richland), Washington

Located at the confluence of the Columbia and Snake Rivers sits Sacajawea State Park, this site reveals the story of Lewis and Clark’s expedition through the experiences of Sacajawea, their faithful Native American guide.

Day 8 - Clarkston

Enjoy an included hop-on hop-off tour to explore, including a visit to the Nez Perce National Historical Park for a guided tour of their reservation and a stop in downtown Lewiston.

Day 9 - Clarkston, Washington

You say your fond farewells as you arrive into Clarkston this morning – end of cruise.
