Arrive in Nashville
Upon arrival make your way to your hotel by taxi. Spend the rest of the afternoon and evening exploring downtown Nashville. Known as the home of country music, we’ve included a visit to the Country Music Hall of Fame and a tour of RCA Studio B, once the recording home of popular music geniuses such as Elvis Presley and The Everly Brothers! Be sure to make time for a visit to the Ryman Auditorium and the Grand Ole Opry, as well as sampling some live music in one of the many venues on Lower Broadway.

Nashville to Memphis, 212 miles
Welcome to the city renowned as the home of the blues and the birthplace of rock and roll. Memphis is a city that exudes its legendary musical history and as you would expect, has a wealth of things to see and do. Don’t miss a visit to Sun Studio, the birthplace of Rock n Roll! You can also enjoy afternoon tea at The Peabody Memphis and experience the splendid March of the Peabody Ducks. A particular highlight is the Elvis Experience Tour of Graceland, which is included in the holiday.

Memphis to Tupelo, 108 miles
Crossing into Mississippi, Tupelo is the birthplace of Elvis Presley, who is commemorated with numerous statues and The Elvis Presley Museum, which traces his early life and music. Whilst here, you can also visit Buffalo Park and Zoo or explore the Tupelo National Battlefield, the site of Civil War battles.

Tupelo to Vicksburg, 274 miles
On the drive to Vicksburg today there are plenty of exciting musical stops along the way to keep you entertained. First stop is authentic Clarksdale, home to the famous Crossroads’ where the legendary blues musician Robert Johnson supposedly sold his soul to the devil and the Delta Blues Museum, that tells the story of how ‘the blues’ became such a popular sound in the world of music. The next potential stop is the Grammy Museum in Cleveland, dedicated to the history and winners of the Grammy Awards and music in Mississippi. Continue to Indianola and the B.B King Museum and Delta Interpretive Centre, dedicated to the Delta Blues and the life of legendary bluesman B.B King. Stay for two nights in the riverfront town of Vicksburg which was the Deep South’s stronghold during the Civil War. Things to do in Vicksburg include strolling along the Mississippi River, taking photos of the various murals and visiting the National Military Park where the 47-day siege and battle by General Ulysses Grant took place that ended in the surrender of the city.

Vicksburg to New Orleans, 207 miles
Drive to New Orleans, lovingly called ‘The Big Easy’ for a three-night stay, a melting pot of French, African, Caribbean, and Spanish cultures, After dropping your car off, stroll around the different historic districts, including the French Quarter home to lively Bourbon Street and striking Jackson Square. Listen to jazz music on Frenchmen Street, take in the city’s incredible views at Vue New Orleans observation deck, travel by the authentic street cars around the city, eat a sweet beignet at Café du Monde or book a music cruise along the Mississippi River for brunch or dinner
