Arrive in Nashville
Upon arrival make your way to your hotel by taxi. Spend the rest of the afternoon and evening exploring Downtown Nashville. Known as the home of country music, we’ve included a visit to the Country Music Hall of Fame and a tour of RCA Studio B, once the recording home of popular music geniuses such as Elvis Presley and The Everly Brothers! Be sure to make time for a visit to the Ryman Auditorium and the Grand Ole Opry, as well as sampling some live music in one of the many venues on Lower Broadway.
Nashville to Memphis, 212 miles
Welcome to the city renowned as the home of the blues and the birthplace of rock and roll. Memphis is a city that exudes its legendary musical history and as you would expect, has a wealth of things to see and do. Don’t miss a visit to Sun Studio, the birthplace of Rock n Roll! You can also enjoy afternoon tea at The Peabody Memphis and experience the splendid March of the Peabody Ducks. A particular highlight is the Elvis Experience Tour of Graceland, which is included in the holiday.
Memphis to Tupelo, 108 miles
Crossing into Mississippi, Tupelo is the birthplace of Elvis Presley, who is commemorated with numerous statues and The Elvis Presley Museum, which traces his early life and music. Whilst here, you can also visit Buffalo Park and Zoo or explore the Tupelo National Battlefield, the site of Civil War battles.
Tupelo to Jackson, 192 miles
Whilst in Jackson discover a wealth of civil rights history. The state-wide Mississippi Freedom Trail runs through the city and encompasses a number of historic and significant events in the civil rights movement. Be sure to visit the Medgar Evers Home Museum and the landmark Mississippi State Capitol building. You could also explore LeFleur's Bluff State Park, which is home to a lake, a nine-hole golf course, and the Mississippi Museum of Natural Science.
Jackson to Biloxi, 165 miles
Spend some time getting acquainted with the local nature, or perhaps enjoying the city’s buzzing entertainment scene. The hotel and casino complexes have brought new experiences to the city. Opt to enjoy a fantastic meal at BR Prime at the Beau Rivage Casino or, if you’re a wildlife lover, take a tour to Deer Island which is home to American Alligator, Mottled Duck, Osprey, Loggerhead Turtle and Diamond Terrapin.
Biloxi to New Orleans, 90 miles
Welcome to the ‘Big Easy’, New Orleans. Get a feel for the city by strolling down the narrow streets of the French Quarter, enjoying the music of the jazz clubs and experiencing Creole and Cajun cooking at its finest. Walk through the historic garden district and dine on a Mississippi River Steamboat, or take a Swamp and Bayou or Oak Alley Plantation Tour. There is so much to do during your stay here.
