Day 1-3
Arrival – San Francisco
Arrive in the beautiful bay side city of San Francisco for a three-night stay. There is so much to explore in the city, head to Fisherman’s Wharf to enjoy some delicious seafood and to see the noisy seals, take the ferry across to the notorious prison Alcatraz or hire a bike and cycle over the iconic Golden Gate Bridge. Getting around the city by cable car is a fun way to explore the different neighbourhoods including colourful Chinatown, elegant Nob Hill, and the world’s ‘crookedest’ street – Lombard Street.
Day 4-7
San Francisco to Las Vegas & the Grand Canyon
Take the short flight from San Francisco to the desert playground of Las Vegas and hit the famous ‘Strip’. Stroll in and out of the mega-enormous, themed hotels where you can see dancing fountains, gondolas sailing through the Venice canals and thrilling roller coaster rides. Take in a world-class show, hit the casinos or shop until you drop in one of the shopping malls. During your stay, enjoy an overnight small-group tour that visits the Hoover Dam, Grand Canyon’s South Rim, the stunning slot canyon at Antelope Canyon, and the impressive Horseshoe Bend. With additional stops to see Route 66 memorabilia and towns, this adventure gives you a taste of some of the west’s most iconic attractions.
Day 8-10
Las Vegas to Los Angeles
Head back to the Pacific Ocean today and the ‘City of Angels’ Los Angeles for three nights. Visit stylish and sophisticated Beverly Hills to window shop along Rodeo Drive or stroll along the Hollywood Walk of Fame to spot your favourite celebrity star. For those seeking more thrilling adventures head to Disneyland, Knotts Berry Farm or Universal Studios Hollywood.
Day 11
Homeward Bound
Head back to Los Angeles Airport to board your homebound flight.
