Day 1-2
Arrival in Toronto
Fly into Toronto and transfer to your hotel by taxi. The city of Toronto is the jewel in eastern Canada’s crown as it is beautifully located on the shores of Lake Ontario and is one of the world’s most vibrant cities. Travel up the iconic CN Tower, be spoilt for choice in the foodie’s heaven that is St Lawrence Market and stroll the Art Gallery of Ontario, home to an impressive 95,000 pieces of artwork from Canada and the rest of the world.
Day 3
Victory Cruise Lines - Toronto
As part of your Victory cruise package enjoy another night in Toronto. Settle in to your hotel, meet your fellow travellers and explore more of Toronto, perhaps exploring the waterfront and maybe going out on cruise to the many islands on Lake Ontario.
Day 4

Watch the city skyline recede as you glide across Lake Ontario, with the city’s bustling energy giving way to the calm waters of your voyage ahead. Day 5
Cruising on Lake Ontario & Niagara Falls
Sail along the gentle waves of Lake Ontario to hear the roar of Niagara Falls as you arrive in Port Colborne. Your Victory Cruise includes a selection of included shore excursions dependent on your ports of call, or you can on pay an additional supplement for Premium and Immersive shore excursions. Feel the spray on your skin as you edge closer to the natural wonder of Niagara Falls on your included Voyage to the Falls boat excursion that takes you to the base of the falls and under the thundering waters, a waterproof poncho is included! And then retreat to the calm streets of Port Colborne, a quaint town brimming with local artisans and waterfront cafés.
Day 6
Cleveland, Ohio
Arrive in charming Cleveland a clean and compact city which has a passion for music, sport, and food. A walkable city, take a selfie with the Cleveland sign, stroll around the pretty parks and enjoy lunch or a drink in vibrant East 4th which is lined with an array of restaurants and bars. Included in your cruise is entrance to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame which is housed in a pyramidal masterpiece with six floors of memorabilia, outfits, iconic instruments, and personal artifacts from global music superstars from ABBA and Beyonce to Wings and Pink Floyd.
Day 7
Cruising on Lake Erie & Detroit, Michigan
Sail into tranquillity on the shimmering waters of Lake Erie as you head to your next port of call the Motown city of Detroit – a city with an electric spirit that never stands still. Visit the Motown Museum where legendary stars including Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye and Diana Ross rose to stardom and see the artists artefacts including original sheet music, costumes and photos. Or join your included excursion to the interesting Henry Ford Museum in nearby Dearborn, one of the fascinating museums in the USA. The museum brilliantly tells the story of America’s innovation through the years in transportation, technology, and manufacturing with hundreds of iconic artefacts including the Rosa Parks Bus, Thomas Edison’s workshop and the Wright Brothers’ workshop, as well as the evolution of the aircraft.
Day 8
Cruising on Lake Huron
Sail north across remote Lake Huron which boasts the longest and most diverse coastline of any of the Great Lakes and is home to Manitoulin Island, the largest island in any freshwater lake in the world. Over 1000 shipwrecks lie under the waters of Lake Huron as well as various types of fish including salmon, whitefish, and lake trout. Onboard enjoy the lakes peaceful serenity further by indulging in a massage or facial in the spa.
Day 9
Cruising on Lake Superior & Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario
The shimmering waters of Lake Superior await today before we arrive back in Canada and the port of Sault Ste. Marie. The port offers a front-row seat to one of engineering’s great spectacles. Watch as massive freighters glide through the Soo Locks, connecting the wild waters of Lake Superior to the gentler tides of Lake Huron. A half day tour that takes you to the observation platform at Soo Locks where you can witness the fascinating locking process and huge freighters navigate their way through the locks. Visits to the Freshwater Research Centre, Valley Camp Museum Ship and time to wander around the town’s quaint downtown is also included.
Day 10
Mackinac Island, Michigan
Arriving today at Mackinac Island and you will instantly get the feeling that you’re stepping back in time. Your included excursion in Mackinac Island is an idyllic sightseeing tour around Mackinac Island in a charming horse-drawn carriage where you will learn about the islands history including a visit to Surrey Hill, iconic Arch Rock and historic Fort Mackinac.
Day 11
Escanaba, Michigan
Sail into the laid back lakeside town of Escanaba today which is surrounded by outstanding natural beauty with a small-town charm. Unveil Escanaba’s charm with a visit to the Sand Point Lighthouse, a hike through Ludington Park, and a look into local history at the Delta County Historical Society. Don't forget to try the local popular delicacy 'Dobber's Pasty'. Your included excursion takes you to various attractions in the area that tells the history of the town's maritime past.
Day 12
Milwaukee, Wisconsin & Cruising on Lake Michigan
Milwaukee welcomes you with its distinctive blend of old-world charm and modern flair. Sip your way through local craft breweries, take in the striking architecture of the Milwaukee Art Museum, or cruise down the Riverwalk, lined with lively cafés and waterfront parks. For motorbike enthusiasts take the short taxi ride to the Harley Davidson Museum and its expansive 20-acre campus and two floors packed with hundreds of iconic motorcycles and artefacts that tell the legendary story of Harley Davidson. Continue across the endless open waters of Lake Michigan’s taking in the serene scenery out on deck or enjoying a drink in The Tavern, a cosy English style pub.
Day 13-14
Chicago
Your Great Lakes cruise finishes at Navy Pier, Chicago this morning. Disembark and transfer to your Chicago hotel where you will spend two nights. Chicago is an easy city to get around, so make the most of the sightseeing possibilities. Book an architecture cruise tour on the Chicago River and learn about the events that built this great city. Take some time to enjoy the stunning views of the city from up-high at the Skydeck Chicago, Willis Tower or the 360-degree Chicago Experience. Explore Grant Park with its numerous iconic landmarks and attractions and take a stroll down Navy Pier, which runs onto the waterfront at Lake Michigan.
Day 15
Homeward Bound
Enjoy your last few hours in Chicago, perhaps visiting the many shops and department stores along the Magnificent Mile whilst admiring its stunning architecture. Grab a taxi or get the train back to Chicago airport to board your flight back to the UK.
