Arrive in Seattle
Visit all the city sights of Seattle, taking in Pike Place Market, the awesome views from the Space Needle, and the fantastic cuisine of Chinatown. You could also take a trip to the 268-foot-high Snoqualmie Falls, one of Washington state’s most popular scenic attractions and made even more famous by its appearance in the television series Twin Peaks. Late afternoon on your third day, you’ll pick up your hire car and get ready for your road trip.

Bandon to Portland, 248 miles
As you head north to Portland, be sure to stop by Willamette Valley, Oregon’s Wine Country. It is home to over 300 wineries so there is no shortage of options. Upon arrival into Portland, take some time to discover the International Test Rose Garden and Washington Park, or take a tour of Pittock Mansion to hear the fascinating story of Henry Pittock - the newspaper and business magnate. On your journey back to Seattle, why not pay a visit to the Museum of Flight or the Boeing Future of Flight Museum conveniently located on your route to the airport? Afterwards, return your rental car before departing Seattle for your homebound flight.
